LET THE GAMES BEGIN! We have a lot going on in Yorktown including the new MAGIC pre-release tournament kicking off this Saturday, January 28, _ 3 p.m.. That same day marks the beginning of our next GW Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40K campaigns. Also, our next Commander/EDH event starts Monday, February 6, _ 5:00 P.M. And that's only the beginning. Our calendar's going to get full.
January 10, 2012:
BITZ! BITZ! BITZ! On Saturday, January 14, 2012 from 1PM-4PM, we will be having a GW Players Swap Meet. Come in and Buy, Trade, or sell any Games Workshop models & bits with other players.
November 15, 2011:
Tomorrow we are kicking off a DC Celebration Sale. 50% off of DC Back issues. 25% off of DC Tradepaperbacks and Hardcovers.
Also, MAGIC League has been a great success in its first week! Players have started to finish their first five games and are on their way to the first promo.
November 8, 2011:
Yu-Gi-Oh! open play every Thursday night from 5-8. On December 1st we will hold a Yu-Gi-Oh! advanced format tournament.

Our Warhammer 40,000 tournament begins on Sunday, November 13, 2011. It's open to everyone and it's free, so come in and sign up today!

Our Games Workshop section has been updated to include a new tab for Dreadfleet, the GW sea combat game. At first glance, the Dreadfleet ships look pretty amazing (check out our tab - we have pictures). Stay tuned for more details.

Our annual Halloween Sale is coming up on October 29th. Well have door prizes, candy for the kids, and even an event or two to celebrate! Keep an eye out for sale teasers and special coupons youll only be able to find by visiting this page.

As you read earlier this week, were also starting a Pokemon event every Monday night come October 3rd. Well start at 5:30 and finish by 8. The tournament has a one pack entry fee (you keep the pack!), and promo cards will be awarded to top finishers. Door prizes throughout the event will include packs, sleeves, and other fun things. The more people, the more prizes!

Happy Monday! Couple of quick announcements:
-The Storm of Magic game will be taking place this Sunday, AUGUST 28. Check out the Games Workshop section for more information and the event rules.
-The DC comic relaunch is just around the corner! 52 of DC's best titles are starting over at number 1 this September. Stop by for a free copy of DC Comics The New 52 with sneak previews while supplies last.
-Innistrad, the first set in Magic's next block is due out September 30th. That means we're celebrating with a Prerelease (the 24th) and a Launch Party (the 30th). Come join us for the fun, and don't forget that preorders guarantee we'll have what you need come the 30th AND save you some money!

-The 40k tournament has come to a close. Jay, Jim, and Kelly split the $75 prize pool three ways. You can read about their lists on the Games Workshop page.
-The next Fantasy tournament is scheduled to start on September 4th, and we're hosing a Storm of Magic tournament the week before (that's Sunday the 28th of August). Check back for Fantasy tournament rules later this week.

-As usual, the new comics are up! If you're interested in what you'll be able to pick up tomorrow morning, just click "Comics" on the left and take a look.
-New FNM is set to begin on June 24th, a short week and a half away. Details about the new prize structure is on the Magic Events page!
-We've got a GenCon badge voucher to give away to WoW Battleground players sometime this month, so be sure to be here on Thursday nights! We also have the Midsummer Fire Festival coming up on Saturday, June 25th. Come earn your achievement and a chance at a really sweet playmat!
-We're starting up the 40k campaign this Sunday, the 19th. If you haven't signed up yet, there's still time! Call or stop by to add your name to the list.
